Butterflies and Ladybugs

On April 30th, we received a new addition to our classroom - little caterpillars! We have enjoyed watching them grow and change into beautiful butterflies. Here is a look into their journey from caterpillar, to chrysalis, to butterfly.

Axe Capoeira Performance

Beach Field Trip!

As summer approaches, it seems fitting that we end the year with a beach theme!

The class was asked to think of questions they have about ocean animals and this is what they came up with:

Investigating Beans and Marigolds

 

In April, the students planted bean and marigold seeds! Over the last couple of months, the class has watched their seeds grow. While observing our plants, we learned about what makes the two plants similar and what makes them different. Here is some of our learning:
